Hi, I’m Rev. Barbara Dawson — and I’m truly excited about the possibility of creating a wedding ceremony that feels personal, relaxed, and full of joy.

To me, a wedding is more than just a moment — it’s a chance to celebrate your story, to honour where you’ve come from, and to share the life you’re building together with the people who matter most.

My role is to make your ceremony feel natural, meaningful, and easy — like you’re in the right place, saying the right words, in your own way. I’ll help you find the language that feels true to you, and hold space for laughter and connection.

The Okanagan is the perfect backdrop, with its lakes, mountains, wineries, and warm, easygoing spirit. I’m happy to officiate anywhere in the region, and open to any style of ceremony that reflects who you are — whether it’s just the two of you, barefoot by the lake or surrounded by your whole crew in your favourite pub. Kids, dogs, friends, family — everyone’s welcome to be involved.
